A Heaven Hill Christmas(8)

As she steadied herself against his stomach, she rocked against him, finding a rhythm that drove him nuts. Her tits pushed up over her bra as she rode his dick, her stomach muscles clenched as she moved back and forth. It was one of the hottest things he’d ever seen. But when she grabbed his hand and brought it up to her throat, holding his palm around the soft skin there as his fingers automatically clasped her with just the right amount of pressure, he knew he was gone. That his woman liked a little bit of dominance with her pleasure was enough to short circuit his brain. Grasping her there, he felt the answering wetness wash across his cock, and that’s when he couldn’t take it anymore. He let go of her neck, locked his fingers around her knees and flipped them over. In that position he had more leverage. He felt his jeans slide further down his ass, stopping just below the curve, and while it annoyed him, he couldn’t make himself stop.

Holding her neck, he grasped her there as leverage, hoping she was okay with it, figuring she was when her nails bit into the part of his ass his jeans had exposed, urging him to take her harder. There were no words in the room, only the sounds of their desperate love making.

“Give it to me,” she begged him, pulling her thighs up tighter against his ribs, opening herself wider to him. “Give me what I give you.”

“I can’t ever give you what you give me,” he heard the words tumble from his mouth. “Goddamn, you’re everything to me. Don’t you know that by now?”

When he felt her hand snake down to where they were joined, and rub against the hard length pressing inside of her, he grasped loudly, feeling his body let go.

Her answering moan told him she’d done the same. And in the aftermath, all he could do was hold her against him.

Chapter Five

When Layne woke up the next morning, Jess wasn’t in bed; she was sitting perched at her desk, fingers flying over the keyboard of her laptop. He wondered how long she’d stayed in bed with him last night. But for the life of him he couldn’t remember when he’d gone to sleep, he only knew that in the end she’d worn his ass out instead of the other way around.

He lay back against the sheets for a few minutes, wondering if he should interrupt her. It was then he noticed she wore earbuds, so he decided against it. With the rapid pace her fingers were keeping on the computer, he knew she was deeply into a scene and if he ruined it now by interrupting, he’d feel bad. Especially since he’d kind of thrown her off her game when he’d come to chew her out for getting stuck in a snowstorm.

Fifteen minutes later he’d done his morning business, taken a quick shower, and put on into some pajama bottoms and a t-shirt he kept there for times just like this. Jess still hadn’t noticed he was awake, so he went over to the small stove and checked the fridge. Looked like they had enough food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for at least today. Anything past tomorrow and they’d have to figure it out, but for today they could be happy as clams and warm as toast.

As he went about making omelets for the two of them, he checked his phone. A warning scrolled across that Bowling Green had received upwards of twenty-two inches of snow and since temps were not going to get above freezing for the next three days, people were being told to shelter in place.

Grinning, he glanced over at his wife, he was sure as fuck going to enjoy that. Just as he plated their omelets, Jessica gave out a small squeal, did something on her laptop and then closed the lid.

“I’m done!”

It was then he noticed there were still dark circles under her eyes, but good Lord did she look alive. There was a spark there he hadn’t seen in a while.

“Did you sleep at all last night?” he asked as he set their plates down and poured them both glasses of orange juice.

She ducked her head. “No,” she sighed. “What you did to me inspired me and as soon as you dozed off, I knew exactly where I wanted the story to go, and oh my God it’s done, Layne! It’s done!”

He couldn’t help but grin at her enthusiasm. No reason to be pissed off or upset when she was so excited over her accomplishment. He could see, by looking at her, that finishing a book was a high he just didn’t understand. “Seeing as how we got twenty-two inches of snow, and we’re stuck here for a while, I think I’ll make sure you take a nap today.”

She reached over, cupping his cheek with the palm of her hand. “Only if you take a nap with me.”

Like she even had to ask? “I’m sorry we’re spending Christmas here, instead of where all our family is,” he apologized to her as he took a drink of his orange juice.
